how to make a concrete bust.

in the above slideshow you can see how the lesson developed from teaching the children facial proportions (worksheets to come) to learning about primary, secondary and complementary colours (worksheet to come).

the end result was displayed in the reception area - each child painted a self-portrait in proportion using complementary colour pairs.

the session was three hours long with pupils aged 5 to 6 years old.
